Good evening everyone!!
It’s almost that time again: Miss & Mr. Ghana Germany 2015 will be taking place in Hamburg on Saturday 5th September
And this year my dear friend and fellow naturalista Cindy (Contestant nr. 5) will be participating.
As today is Wednesday I just had to make her my Woman Crush.
I sat down with her and got to ask her some questions.
Myfrolover: Hey Cindy, tell us a little about yourself.
Cindy: Hey, my name is Cindy Amponsah – still 20 years of age but I’ll turn 21 in October. I was born and raised in Düsseldorf. I’m currently studzing management and economics in Bochum (Germany). It’s quite hard but I know with God everything is possible.
M: Oh wow! That sounds pretty impressive. Do you have any beauty tips for the ladies out there?
C: My beauty tip for all the beautiful ladies out there – SMILE cause it makes you beautiful 😀
M: Now, that’s a tip that I totally approve of! Now that we are at it of course I have to ask: What is your go to hair product?
C: My go to hair product is Shea Butter – I just love it! It has so many benefits for your hair AND skin.
M: Shea Butter is my fave too!! So now to my big question: What made you decide to run for Miss Ghana Germany?
C: A good friend of mine convinced me of doing it. I thought he was joking but he was very serious. So later on I was thinking about the benefits and advantages of taking part. And it’s actually a good platform for my achievements here in our Ghanaian community.
M: It’s always good to have friends that push in you towards the right direction. Tell us who is your biggest supporter and what does your team look like?
C: The funny thing is – I don’t have just ONE supporter. I got a whole team including family, my friends even people from foreign countries. The support is more than great and cool people
M: That sounds so amazing, it’s always good to have people behind you. As the saying goes: It takes a whole village to raise a child. But I’m sure now and then you face some negativity here and there. How do you deal with it?
C: Life is too short and beautiful to deal with negativity. That’s why I only vibe and surround myself with positive and cool people.
M: That’s the way to go! Now let’s jump a few days and let’s say it’s 12 hours before the competiton… What do you do to calm your nerves?
C: Ermmmm… I listen to my favourite azonto tunes to shake the nervousness and tension off
M: Sounds like fun. Now to the show: I know you’re not allowed to say exactly what it will be like but could you just use 3 words to describe it?
C: Interesting, Fun and Entertaining.
Thanks again Cindy for the great interview. You already have my vote, for me you’re Miss Ghana already!!
If anyone of you will be in Hamburg (Germany) on the 5th of September just make it a point to be there and enjoy the Interesting, Fun and Entertaining show full of Ghanaian culture and a lot of surprises.
But also to see beautiful Cindy live!!!
Check out some pictures of contestant nr. 5, the gorgeous and incredibly smart Cindy.
Good Luck Cindy!!!
